The 19-Day Website Challenge: Launching Transponder Tech at Speed

When Teledyne’s newly acquired business, Transponder Tech, came to us, their request was simple… and slightly terrifying:
“We need a new website…and we need it live by the end of the month.”
Challenge accepted.
From that first briefing to launch day, just 19 days passed.It was one of those projects that perfectly proves why our investment in a reusable content model, component library, and design system was worth every hour.
Because we built the underlying site infrastructure on Kontent.ai, our headless digital experience platform, we were able to spin up a brand-new site using the same robust foundation that powers other Teledyne brands. With our component library and pre-configured integrations already in place, we could focus on design and experience rather than setup and plumbing.
Our agile delivery approach meant we designed, built, tested, and refined in rapid cycles, adapting as content came together and feedback rolled in. And credit where it’s due, the Transponder Tech team were superstars, populating content in record time.
We refined our core Raymarine / Teledyne Kontent.ai codebase so new sites can be cloned and customised with ease.
Fonts, colours, and logos? All handled through our global Figma design system for quick brand alignment.
The result? A fast, flexible, and future-ready site that went from idea to launch in less than three weeks and a perfect example of howagile thinking, smart architecture, and great collaboration make magic happen.
