Leading modular agency Modern Citizens today announces its new partnership with telecommunications giant, Motorola, to lead its social media strategy and content deployment.

‍

Modern Citizens has been tasked with engaging Gen Z audiences in the Benelux region, launching its first innovative social media strategy “Live the moto way”, in collaboration with sister agency Brand Potential, who led on PR and influencer, and Creative Room who produced EMEA content.

‍

This fresh approach uses influencers, community driven content and lifestyle positioning to position Motorola as a forward-thinking lifestyle tech brand and leverage Gen Z’s preference for authenticity, creative expression, community engagement and lifestyle-driven storytelling.

‍

The “Live the moto way” strategy aligns with Motorola’s global and EMEA content guidelines while ensuring a localised approach that resonates with audiences in the Netherlands and Belgium.

‍

The strategy is built around influencer-led content, partnering with lifestyle and tech influencers to create relatable, engaging narratives around Motorola’s latest innovations. Simultaneously, user-generated content and community engagement play a key role, encouraging followers to share their own Motorola experiences to foster a sense of ownership and brand loyalty.

‍

An always-on content approach will deliver custom posts and stories multiple times per week across Instagram and Facebook, with potential expansion into TikTok. The campaign will also emphasise Motorola’s advancement in AI, foldable technology and intuitive design through compelling content formats.

‍

Quirine ter Poorten, Lead Content Strategist, Modern Citizens said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to work with such a well-renowned brand like Motorola.
